The Mountain Confederation's Ladies Event is returning to Central PA, bigger and better than ever, with a weekend full of fighting, archery, competitions, classes, kiddie activities, feasting, and fun.

COMPETITIONS include BREWING, TABLE SETTING, MIDDLE EASTERN DANCE, and A&S with a theme of SHEEP.

FIGHTING activities include a DOUBLE ELIM TORCHLIGHT TOURNAMENT Friday evening and WARLORD and NOVICE TOURNEYS on Saturday. The Warlord Tourney will include Combat Archery.

CLASSES include BEGINNING VOCAL, BLACK DEATH, RUSLAN'S TAKE ON FIGHTING, EQUESTRIAN DEMONSTRATIONS.

To cap off the weekend's activities, there will also be a SCAVENGER HUNT, BARDIC CONSULTATION, a performance by CAVE CANUM, AND CONFED'S WONDERFUL AUCTION.

And, of course, lots of ARCHERY, and KIDDIE ACTIVITIES

COST is $19 on-board adult (includes Saturday brunch, Feast, and Sunday breakfast).

$13 off-board adult (includes everything except feast), $9 out-board adult (no meals), children 2-14 half price, babies free, family cap $54, $3 non-member surcharge. Feast is limited to 100. Cabins are available at no additional cost on a first come, first served basis. The Menu

DIRECTIONS: From the north, south, or east, find your best way to Route 15 in Lewisburg. Turn west onto Route 45. You will go through Lewisburg and Mifflinburg. After you pass through Mifflinburg, look for the turn-off to Route 104. Go .9 (9/10) mile past the 104 turn-off and you will see a Y left turn. Take this left turn (towards Swengel). Stay on this road for 11.2 miles, passing two stop signs. Immediatly past Penn's Creek Campground and across a bridge. Turn right onto dirt road to Camp Karoondinha.

From the west (State College area) follow Route 45 east to Rout 235, just past the Laurelton Center. Stay on Route 235 for 3.2 miles. A short distance past the West End Fire Co., turn right onto Creek Road. Immediately past Penn's Creek Campground and across a bridge, turn right onto dirt road to Camp Karoondinha.

Site will open at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and close at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.

MERCHANTS: Merchants are always welcome, but please reserve space with the Autocrat. Space is available indoors or outdoors. Indoors may use the tables, but must be torn down by 5:00 on Saturday. Outdoors must supply their own equipment, but may stay open later.
